Why we made it

A mental challenge is easier to return to when it feels like play. MindSplit uses familiar situations: matching faces and names, remembering a shopping list, following changing flight gates, or keeping a restaurant moving. Every round has an immediate purpose.

It is made for adults and older teens who want an enjoyable challenge during a commute, a break, or a few quiet minutes at home. Individual games usually last one to three minutes, and the free daily workout is designed to fit into about five.

How the daily mix works

Guest players can play Name That Face anytime, with unlimited rounds, full adaptive difficulty, and local scores, without creating an account. They can also play a rotating three-game daily workout. Premium expands the workout to five personalised games and unlocks the full catalogue of 16 games, complete history, cloud sync, and friendly nickname-based rankings.

The experience is offline-first: games and local guest progress are designed to keep working without a connection after the app has loaded.

Our design rules

Every game should explain its first move in seconds, make each tap feel consequential, and show progress without shaming a low score. Difficulty changes through clearer or busier situations, longer sequences, and faster decisions, not through obscure instructions.

Colour is never meant to carry the whole interaction. Shapes, labels, patterns, generous targets, reduced-motion support, and plain instructions help make the arcade readable in more situations.
